About the St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower Chapel
Portions of the St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower Chapel were built for St. Joseph's orphanage in 1910-1911. An addition at the back was added in 1925-1926. The Little Flower Chapel was restored and renovated in dedication to St. Therese of Lisieux in 2002 under the direction of Fr. Becket Franks, O.S.B. The stained glass windows of the saints behind the sanctuary are in their original places. The two lily windows near the confessionals are also original and were moved to their new location during the 2002 renovation. The Vine and Branches windows along the sides of the chapel, the Altar, Lectern, Crucifix, Baptismal Font and other furniture are also new to the chapel since the renovation. Mass is offered five times weekly during the school year, with Adoration and Reconciliation occurring on Wednesday and Friday afternoons during our student lunch and homeroom periods. Students are welcome and invited to come to the chapel and pray at any time during the school day.
