Submitting a completed freshman application along with the $35 fee automatically registers your child for the entrance exam on Saturday, December 7th. In order for your child to be eligible for scholarships, your child must test at Benet Academy on December 7th. Students who do not test at Benet will not be considered for any academic scholarships.

In both freshman and transfer applications, Benet Academy will holistically evaluate a prospective student's application to determine an admission decision by using multiple tools, including, but not limited to test scores, academic transcripts, teacher recommendations, and family communication, to invite prospective students to flourish within its school culture.
Benet accepts students of any race, gender, national or ethnic origin, or financial situation.
Getting Started
To begin the application process at Benet please complete the inquiry form below to create both a parent/guardian account and a student record—please make certain to submit accurate information.
The Admissions Office will process your inquiry form within 24 hours (when school is in session). Once your inquiry form is processed, follow the instructions to continue to set up your parent/guardian account. This account allows you to register for upcoming events, including shadow visits, step-up days and the entrance exam.

The Admissions Office will process your inquiry within one school day. You will then receive an invitation from our portal provider to finish setting up your account. Please accept the invitation to access the MyBenet Portal. This account allows you to register for upcoming events, including Shadow Program visits.
Step 3:
Complete your application (including $35 application fee) to Benet Academy through the MyBenet Portal. The Online Application includes extracurricular interests and contact information.
As part of the application process for all 8th grade applicants, Benet Academy requires the HSPT for its entrance exam. Students interested in taking the HSPT will automatically be registered to take the exam as part of their online application.

The applicant’s performance on junior high standardized testing and report cards
Priority is given to Catholic Applicants
Priority is given to legacy applicants who have a sibling, parent, or grandparent who graduated from Benet or St. Procopius Academy or who currently attends Benet.
As part of the application process for all transfer applicants, Benet Academy requires: an unofficial copy of your child’s high school transcripts, a copy of any recent standardized test scores, our disciplinary form completed by your child’s current school administrator and two letters of academic recommendation.
