Microfinance Club

Mission Statement: Our goal, as a student-run initiative, is to help alleviate global poverty through the process of microloans. Our hope is to donate to a wide range of impoverished individuals and causes around the world. With our microloans, we hope to make a significant and positive impact on the world.

Club Description: The microfinance club hosts fundraising events throughout the year to raise money towards loans for individuals across the globe. Using Kiva, we are able to send loans to these individuals and their businesses. Over time, we will get paid interest back and reinvest this money into other businesses.
