Spanish Club

Mission Statement: To inform and learn about the different cultures from different Latin countries. We provide an invite into their food, the holidays they celebrate, the language, and the music. Also, we provide awareness to students about immigrants and different organizations that help those immigrants in need.

Club Description: Every other month we have a meeting to plan a breakfast or event. Each Breakfast consists of authentic foods from different Latin countries. For example, we have concha’s, churros, and Mexican candy. We also always have Spanish music in the background and we open up to anyone who would like to come. There is only one fee of $15 in the beginning of the year for the rest of the year. With the money we raise, we donate it to organizations who help immigrants with starting a new life.

Meeting Time and Location: 7:15 in Mrs. Lessard’s room for the meetings and SJC for the morning breakfasts.
