Certamen

Mission Statement: Certamen is a team competition that challenges students’ knowledge of numerous topics relating to the ancient world and languages.

Club Description: Certamen meets for weekly practices and competes at three regional meets throughout the school year, with the goal of making the state competition. Questions cover Latin vocabulary and grammar, ancient history, and the culture and mythology of ancient Greeks and Romans.
