MUSE Literary Club

The MUSE Literary Club meets weekly for “write-ins”: an opportunity to explore creative writing prompts and share original work in an environment that fosters positive feedback and inspiration. We do activities that allow creative freedom in all different mediums: short stories, poetry, black out poetry, music lyrics, movie scripts, etc. A creative writing contest is sponsored by Muse once a school year. The club contributes to, edits, designs, and publishes the annual Benet literary magazine which consists of student creative writing (poetry, short stories, and some art/photography). Muse tries to hold at least one “open mic” night during the school year to share original poetry and music. All grade level students are welcome.

Meetings: Monday's @ 3:15-4:00 p.m.
Location: M-125
Communication: Through MUSE Google Classroom, announcements, email
Moderator: Ms. White mwhite@benet.org
