Mission Statement: To create a visually captivating and comprehensive record of the school year, celebrating student achievements, capturing significant moments, and preserving lasting memories for the Benet Academy community through a high-quality yearbook publication. To foster a sense of school pride by actively engaging students in the yearbook creation process, capturing their unique stories and contributions to the school year. To produce a factually accurate and ethically sound yearbook, providing a reliable record of the school year through responsible reporting and image selection. To serve as a lasting chronicle of the academic year, meticulously documenting important events, activities, and achievements of the Benet Academy community.
Club Description: The Yearbook Club is responsible for the design and layout as well as the completion and distribution of the school's yearbook. We work with a photography company and use student photography to document the various events of the school year. The Editors are responsible for choosing a theme, creating page layouts and all the work involved in taking the yearbook from a blank book to a masterpiece that documents the school year for every student.
Meeting Time and Location: Tuesday and Friday from 7:10-7:30am and one day after school in S202. There is also a 2 day Editor Camp over the summer for choosing the theme, designing the cover and page layouts.
