Prior to joining Benet, Deacon Christopher had a successful global engineering and business leadership career in consumer products development and manufacturing for companies such as Whirlpool Corporation, Robert Bosch, Chamberlian, Perfection Spring & Stamping Corp, and others. Upon completion of his Diaconal Studies and Formation at Mundelein Seminary he was ordained as a Deacon for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2018. As a Deacon he serves the communities of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Glenview and the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago. Deacon Christopher and his wife, PJ, reside in Glenview, are the proud parents of Kirby (SLU ’21, Winthrop ’23) and Murphy (Dayton ’22, University of Tennessee '26), and have been the host parents to over 100 young adults and teenagers from all walks of life, from near and around the world over the years. Deacon Christopher has been a soccer referee for more than four decades, and continues to referee at the USSF club, IHSA high school, and NCAA college levels.
